U8’s Hearts Group Final

U8’s Hearts Group Final 2019/2020

Woke up this morning 20/01/2020 just realising what an achievement from the U8s Hearts. We reached the SELKENT Cup Final, not the Vase or Shield but, the actual CUP FINAL. 51 other teams entered and we had some tough games in the rounds but we did it.

This squad can go far, they have energy like no other team and every player including our goalkeeper who we play on the pitch also, are in double figures in goals scored this season. 

We have tested ourselves against a pre-academy team and won and drew with Ebbsfleet United from the A-League, who we hope will be joining next season.

The future is bright with youth football at Aces. A big Thank you to Michael who is part of the management duo. A big Thank you also to Ash and Amy who help out with training and through gritted teeth  a big thanks to Jay who sometimes talks sense. We see his reasoning but it has worked, keep the belief lads and lasses ️️
